Plugging into a loyal distributor network with experiential programs and customized product packaging solutions
Tributaries isn’t a household name, but among A/V distributors and installers, it’s more than a cable manufacturer: it’s Joe. Joe Perfito, to be exact – the founder and CEO. Since its inception, Tributaries has earned a loyal preference in this commoditized marketplace because of its commitment to its key channels and partners--all delivered through the strong relationships built by Joe and his team.
But personality can only take you so far when competing against the likes of Monster Cable and other massive brands dominating the market. To help take Tributaries further – while still maintaining the commitment to a relationship-based business – Joe turned to DaynerHall. Together, we developed a more sophisticated, world-class identity and applied it across the entire brand ecosystem, from the corporate website to sales collateral. This elevated the company’s perceived value was elevated to new level.
To further impact sales, DaynerHall was tasked with the challenge of redesigning the blister packaging for their retail products – sold through big box locations like Best Buy. Working with Chinese manufacturers, DH created a new plastic shell configuration for their cable, and redesigned the labels for their entire line. DaynerHall also developed aggressive advertising for their new line of power products, reinforcing their commitment to protecting the consumer’s investment in quality A/V products.
As part of their tradeshow promotion, DH also created the “Cool on a Spool” program – where a Mini Cooper was taken on tour to the conference location and given away during a sweepstakes. The ads promoting the program prominently featured CEO Joe Pefito, once again delivering the brand promise as the familiar, trusted face of the company.
